This article covers the selection of six Daejeon-based companies in the second year of the “2023 Defense Innovation Company 100” program. The initiative by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration supports SMEs in advanced defense sectors. Five companies were chosen for drone technologies and one for robotics. All five drone companies are from Daejeon, showcasing the city's strength in this field. Selected firms will receive up to 5 billion KRW over five years, along with consulting, R\&D, and export assistance.
